Manchester United's pre season tour continues against Real Madrid on Wednesday, with Erik ten Hag's side taking on Carlo Ancelotti's Spanish giants.


United have won each of their pre-season matches so far against Leeds and Arsenal as they prepare for the new Premier League season and a return to the Champions League. United have been joined on tour by new signings Mason Mount and Andre Onana and are now looking towards building on an impressive first season for Ten Hag.

They face Real Madrid, who beat AC Milan 3-2 in their opening pre season friendly, looking to improve on a season in which they lost their grip on La Liga and the Champions League. Jude Bellingham will likely be in the starting XI for Los Blancos, with the chance to impress against English opposition in the early days of his Madrid career.

The match will take place in Houston, at the NRG Stadium, with as many as 72,220 fans expected in Texas to watch a match between two of the biggest clubs in the world.

United have had a number of young players impressing on tour, with Hannibal Mejbiri and Kobbie Mainoo both staking their claims for a role in the squad for next season. This match will provide an opportunity for these players to further impress against the highest calibre of opposition.

When time is kick-off?

Real Madrid vs Manchester United will take place in Houston, Texas and is scheduled for a kick-off at 7:30pm local time in the US (1:30am BST).

The game will be streamed on MUTV along with all of United's pre-season fixtures.

Team news

New goalkeeper Onana could make his debut for United in this match, having joined up with the squad last week. Meanwhile, Tyrell Malacia and Amad are set to miss out through injury, as Fred's absence from the squad due could continue.
