A 37-year-old South African woman, Gosiame Thamara Sithole, has made headlines after giving birth to 10 babies - seven boys and three girls. This extraordinary birth may set a new world record for the largest-ever live births, if confirmed by doctors .


Sithole, who already had six-year-old twins, was initially expecting eight babies. However, two additional babies were discovered during delivery, surprising everyone. Her husband, Teboho Tsotetsi, expressed his joy and gratitude, feeling "like one of God's chosen children".


The mother and babies are reportedly in good health, despite the pregnancy being deemed high-risk. Sithole had experienced a tough pregnancy, with leg pains and concerns about the babies' well-being.
